Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Flying with a Hidden Disability?

VMA was founded in 2016 by Kees Hoekstra. In collaboration with Schiphol, KLM, and Axxicom, various initiatives have been set up to make air travel less overwhelming and reduce sensory stimuli for travelers.

2. What is DPNA Assistance?

With DPNA assistance, you are accompanied by a helper who guides you to the gate, helping you avoid overstimulation at security, passport control, and customs. The flight crew is also informed that you are a DPNA passenger.
